Zainab Balogun: Zainab Balogun-Nwachukwu (born 10 October 1989) is a Nigerian actress, model and television presenter. She began modeling at an early age after being scouted at 16. She has been featured in several international campaigns for different brands. She co-founded The J-ist TV, an online entertainment web-series that highlights African culture and a range of topical issues; the series features interviews involving some of Africa’s top personalities.

Balogun works as a television presenter for EbonyLife TV, an entertainment television station, for which she currently co-hosts and produces The Spot, the channel’s leading talk show, with Lamide Akintobi. Balogun also appears as a presenter and associate producer on Jumia TV, a teleshopping show.

Zainab Balogun was born in London to Nigerian parents, where she was raised with a large extended family, predominantly in Clapham, a district of South West London. She is an Egba, and claims descent from a family from Abeokuta, Ogun State. Due to the nature of her mother’s work, she moved around a lot and spent most of her formative years growing up with relatives.

Her secondary school education was obtained at Sacred Heart RC Secondary School. Her interest in the arts began with her regularly taking part in talent shows and school plays. She studied music and eventually went on to join the school choir and later formed an R&B girl group with two friends called Regné (pronounced “reign”). She attended Christ the King Sixth Form College where she completed her A Levels in Law, Psychology, and English Language & Literature. She then attended the University of Kent in Medway where she received a Bachelor of Law degree (LLB).

Balogun worked as a model after being scouted by Premier Models Management at the age of 16. After obtaining her law degree, she began to appear in shows such as BBC One’s Material Girl, Bollywood movie Cocktail (2012), and The Charlatans by Ashley Waters. She soon found herself on set with legendary director Christopher Nolan in 2011 for the film The Dark Knight Rises, which she describes as an “unforgettable experience”.

Balogun is now a television presenter, who produces and hosts shows for EbonyLife TV, an entertainment television network. She has also produced shows such as EL Now, a daily entertainment news show for the latest in fashion, music and arts. She is currently joined by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Lamide Akintobi on The Spot, a daily hang-out talk show.

In May 2018 Balogun married Dikko Nwachukwu, founder of Jetwest Airways. The pair were traditionally married on 13 May in Lagos, Nigeria. [citation needed]

Stan Nze: Stan Nze was born on 16 May 1989 in Lagos, Nigeria, to a businessman father and fashion designer mother as a first of five children. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka. He also had training in acting at the Stella Damasus Arts Foundation.

Femi Adebayo: Femi Adebayo Salami (born 31 December 1978) is a Nigerian lawyer, film actor, director, producer and Special Adviser to the Governor of Kwara State on Arts, Culture and Tourism. He is the son of the veteran actor, Adebayo Salami. His father, who is a veteran Nigerian actor Adebayo Salami (Oga Bello), hails from Ilorin, Kwara State.

Femi Adebayo attended the C&S College for his secondary school education. He then went to the University of Ilorin, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Law. He later earned a master’s degree in Law at the University of Ibadan.

Femi Adebayo married Omotayo Adebayo on the 9th of October, 2016. Femi Adebayo and his wife have one son. He also has three children from an earlier marriage.

Folu Storms: Ada Afoluwake Ogunkeye (born November 25, 1986) popularly called Folu Storms, is a Nigerian radio host and presenter, actress, voice-over artist, and television host.

Storms was born in Aguda, Surulere, Lagos state. She attended primary school at Corona VI, then had her secondary education first at The Lagoon Secondary School, then St Leonards Mayfield in the UK and then proceeded to Aberystwyth University where she studied for a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) between 2005 and 2008. Storms later enrolled at the University of Bristol for her Master of Laws (LLM) in 2009. Storms has a diploma in Broadcast Journalism from Pan-African University.

Storms began to work as a lawyer, before she started with the radio station 92.3 Inspiration fm in 2012. She competed for the MTV Base Africa’s VJ search and she was one of the three finalists. Storms was later hired by the Nigerian company Ndani TV as a presenter and content producer where she produced The New Africa documentary which was nominated for best documentary award at the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards. She co-hosted the Breakfast show at Smooth 98.1FM in Lagos and was still doing this in 2019.

Storms won the 2017 Ebony Life TV Sisterhood Awards for TV Personality of the Year the 2018 On-Air Personality award for the Future awards and ELOY Awards.

The role of “Sope” was included when it went into a mini-series titled MTV Shuga Alone Together highlighting the problems of Coronavirus in April 2020. The series was written by Tunde Aladese and broadcast every night – its backers include the World Health Organization. The series was based in Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya and Côte d’Ivoire and the story progresses using online conversations on location between the characters. All of the makeup and filming was done by the actors who include Lerato Walaza, Mamarumo Marokane, and Jemima Osunde.

Chigul: Chioma Omeruah, best known as Chigul, is a Nigerian comedian, singer and actress who is known for her accents and comedic characters.

Omeruah was born in Lagos to Igbo parents. She moved away whilst still a baby. She was the second of four children of Air Commodore Samson Omeruah.

She attended two Air Force secondary schools one in Jos and latterly in Ikeja, Lagos. After her secondary school, she entered Abia State University (ABSU). She attended ABSU for three months. In 1994, she left ABSU to study Criminal Law at Delaware State University, at her father’s request,. This was not a success so she left after two years to study French Education at Delaware State University. Omeruah is a polyglot and speaks 5 languages fluently. She returned to Nigeria after twelve years in America.

She initially became a singer under the name C-Flow but this has been subsumed by her characters – principal of which is Chigul. Chigul speaks in a strong Igbo accent. Chigul was first heard as a recording of the song “Kilode” sent by Omeruah to her friends but the sound was soon re-sent around Nigeria. Chigul has been married but this ended with no joint children.

Omeruah has twelve characters but she is known as “Chigul” after her most well-known invention. She has been interviewed and lauded by a number of media outlets. She had given a TEDx talk and appeared as a character in the Nollywood film, Road to Yesterday. In 2015 she appeared as a guest on the single “Karishika” by Falz.

In May 2020, Omeruah appeared in the Visual Collaborative electronic catalog, in an issue called TwentyEightyFour, she featured in the same issue with Dakore Akande, Oliver Nakakande and Coppé.

Bimbo hails from Lagos State.
